As our friends might know, Mama is taking some online classes. There are all kinds of classes for mommies and daddies to take on their 'puters at home so they don't have to leave us. Mama talked to somebody at the school she sent her money to today about one of her classes, and she decided to comment about the lack of kitty-related classes.
As you can see, they've got a dog-related class. How nice for dog lovers. But, where's the class for cat people? There are many cats-only doctors and veterinary assistants, and many, many cat lovers. So, a class in something like kitty anatomy, common kitty health issues or kitty behavior - something about kitties, for heaven sake, is needed.
If you feel as our Mama feels, please contact the ed2go people. The classes are very inexpensive. Mama is happy for them. Their classes are offered all over the world in many subjects. Mama says she'll write an article about ed2go if they offer at least one class for us kitty people.
Kitties and their people of the world unite! The more unfurry people can learn about us, the happier we'll all be!
This has been an editorial brought to you by Ateret, Livia and Abbi - a rare meeting of the minds!

I will contact them. I agree with you. There definitely need to be an equal number of cat and dog related classes. Excellent decision to take classes. I look forward to hearing how they are going. That is something I would love to do also someday.
ReplyDeleteHi, Elizabeth. Thanks for saying you'll contact ed2go. I love it that I can learn interesting things, earn credits and not have to leave the house.
DeleteSounds like a great program....for DOGS. (haha!) Maybe they should hire me to teach some cat classes. I have credentials.

Katie, you'd be an incredible teacher.
DeleteInteresting. If you get anything going, let us know please?
ReplyDeleteOh, yes, my pleasure. I'm hoping us cat people will make enough noise so we get our way.
DeleteYou're right! There should be kitty offerings!
