Timesharing

As those of you who are owned by more than one cat know, there's a fine balance between cats in multiple-cat households that involves anything and everything.  Ateret will never consider Abbi to be a good friend.  I think she thinks Abbi is a friend, but she won't admit it very often. Last night, I found myself alone in my bed without any friends cuddling me.  I got up to look for the girls in the living room when I caught a charming scene out of the corner of my eye:  Ateret and Abbi sweetly sharing the same space.  There was no posturing, hissing or swatting.  They were sweetly hanging out on different levels of their post.

Ateret and Abbi were so comfortable where they were that they didn't move very much when I went to find the camera and took these photos. I may never see another beautiful scene like this again between these two.

  2. It's always nice to find these moments in our multi-cat households.

    1. The moments were few. The other thing those two do on that scratching post is to slap each other from those same positions, jump, tipping over the post, clunk!

  3. Cute! In our house we argue over sofa space and lap space!

  4. Moosey and Sammy always try to get the prime spot on the couch. Tonight, Sammy got it, and Moosey is on the ottoman. :)
